Hokage

The Hokage (火影; Literally meaning "Fire Shadow") are the leaders of Konoha. They are generally the strongest in the village, although ideology and renown plays a large part in their being chosen for the position.
Five shinobi and one kunoichi have gained this title so far. When the position for Hokage becomes open, whether because of the previous Hokage's death or incapacitation, the Konoha Council promptly begins to search for a replacement,in some cases within hours or days after a Hokage has been deemed dead or unfit; this can be seen in the case of Tsunade after she slipped into a coma.
After being appointed, they are given the Hokage mansion in which to live and have their faces carved out in the stone wall behind it. Though she was pointed out during the first part of the series, the Fifth Hokage's face was not carved out before the beginning of Part II.
According to Kakashi, once a shinobi has been appointed by the Konoha Council it is up to the Jōnin of the village to determine whether the position will become official.

First Hokage

Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage.

Main article: Hashirama Senju Hashirama Senju (千手柱間, Senju Hashirama), the First Hokage (初代火影, Shodai Hokage; Literally meaning "First or Founding Fire Shadow"), was the founder of Konoha, the older brother of Tobirama Senju (the Second Hokage), and the grandfather of Tsunade (the Fifth Hokage) and Nawaki.

Main article: Tobirama Senju Tobirama Senju (千手扉間, Senju Tobirama),^[1] the Second Hokage (二代目火影, Nidaime Hokage; Literally meaning "Second Fire Shadow"), was the younger brother of the Hashirama Senju (the First Hokage) and the granduncle of Tsunade (the Fifth Hokage) and Nawaki.

Third Hokage

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.

Main article: Hiruzen Sarutobi Hiruzen Sarutobi (猿飛ヒルゼン, Sarutobi Hiruzen) was the Third Hokage (三代目火影, Sandaime Hokage; Literally meaning "Third Fire Shadow"). Together with Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, he was the student of the first two Hokage, Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju, and the teacher of Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru.

Fourth Hokage

Main article: Minato Namikaze Minato Namikaze (波風ミナト, Namikaze Minato), also known as Konoha's Yellow Flash (木ノ葉の黄色い閃光, Konoha no Kiiroi Senkō; English "Yellow Flash of the Leaf"), was the Fourth Hokage (四代目火影, Yondaime Hokage; Literally meaning "Fourth Fire Shadow"), the student of Jiraiya and the teacher of Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin. He was the lover of Kushina Uzumaki and the father of Naruto Uzumaki.

Fifth Hokage

Main article: Tsunade Tsunade (綱手) was the Fifth Hokage (五代目火影, Godaime Hokage; Literally meaning "Fifth Fire Shadow") of Konohagakure, taking over after Hiruzen Sarutobi died; she was replaced by Danzō, however, after she went into a coma during Pain's invasion, having exerted all of her chakra to protect the citizens from the large-scale Shinra Tensei that destroyed the village.

Candidate Sixth Hokage

Danzō, the Acting Sixth Hokage.

Main article: Danzō Danzō (ダンゾウ) is a Konoha elder, one of the oldest villagers in Konoha. He is also in charge of the ANBU faction named Root. He is later appointed as the Candidate Sixth Hokage (六代目火影候補, Rokudaime Hokage Kōho) after Pain's invasion.

AKATSUKI

adalah nama sebuah kelompok antagonis dalam serial manga dan anime Naruto. Akatsuki (暁 , "Fajar") beranggotakan 10 orang kriminal kelas S yang ditakuti karena kekuatan dan tabiat mereka yang buruk. Syarat keanggotaan mereka masih belum diketahui secara jelas. Tapi yang pasti, mereka semua mempunyai Kekkei genkai atau setara dengan Kekkei genkai yang unik dan mengerikan dan menakutkan. Tujuan dan visi Akatsuki juga masih belum jelas. Tetapi mereka punya ketertarikan besar terhadap Bijuu —hewan legendaris yang mempunyai chakra yang amat besar yang tidak seorang pun dapat mengendalikannya. Sampai saat ini Akatsuki sudah berhasil mengumpulkan 7 ekor Bijuu; yaitu Shukaku si ekor satu, Nibi si ekor dua, Sanbi si ekor tiga, Yonbi si ekor empat, Gobi si ekor lima , Rokubi si ekor enam , dan Shicibi si ekor tujuh.

Konan

Konan memiliki kemampuan untuk memisahkan dirinya menjadi berlembar-lembar kertas yang dapat berubah bentuk menjadi origami kupu-kupu, bekas anak didik Jiraiya saat dia dan kedua sannin yang lain menghadapi perang dengan Amagakure.

Zetsu

Mempunyai dua kepribadian, di mana bagian hitam dari wajahnya berbicara dalam Katakana, sedangkan yang bagian putih menggunakan Kanji dan Kana, kanibal, fungsinya sebagai seorang mata-mata.

Penampilan seperti ikan hiu, Senjata utama Kisame adalah Shameda sebuah pedang besar khusus bukan digunakan untuk memotong, melainkan untuk mencukur, dikarenakan permukaannya yang kasar seperti kulit hiu.

Kakuzu

Dapat memperpanjang hidupnya dengan cara mengambil jantung manusia, dapat memiliki lima jantung manusia secara bersamaan, dapat menggunakan seluruh lima elemen chakra, tubuh terdiri dari jaring-jaring untuk menyerang dan memanipulasi tubuh yang lain.

Spesialis ledakan menggunakan tanah liat, memanipulasi tanah liat menggunakan mulut di telapak tangan dan dada, meneropong dengan mata kiri, mata kiri yang terlatih untuk menggagalkan genjutsu Sharingan. The Three Sannin as children

The Sannin (伝説の三忍, Densetsu no Sannin; Literally meaning "Legendary Three Ninja") were the students of Hiruzen Sarutobi, members of his Team Hiruzen: Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade. They possess exemplary ninja abilities. When they were young and relatively unknown during the Second Great Shinobi World War they fought against Hanzō, and for being able to survive his attacks he gave them the title of Konoha's Sannin in return for letting them live. After that, their names became famous throughout the world.
The Sannin are widely regarded for their great skill and power, each one has the level of being a Kage in their own right; each has been considered for the position of Hokage at different points in time, with one of them obtaining the title. When Orochimaru defected from Konoha after being denied the position, the Sannin were disbanded, though they continued to be known by the title.

• Jiraiya, the "Toad Sage," wandered the world, discovered and trained under the toads and wrote the Icha Icha series of novels. Later he became the teacher of Yahiko, Konan, Nagato, Minato Namikaze, and Naruto Uzumaki. Died while investigating Pain but in turn killed his Animal Path in the process.
• Orochimaru, the "White Snake," defected from Konoha, joined Akatsuki, and founded Otogakure. Seeks to gain immortality via means of kinjutsu in order to learn every jutsu in existence. Later he taught Anko Mitarashi and Sasuke Uchiha, the latter who absorbed him, and later sealed away by Itachi Uchiha.
• Tsunade, the "Slug Princess," granddaughter of the First Hokage and grandniece of the Second Hokage. Possesses terribly unlucky addiction to gambling. Became famous during the ninja wars as the world's greatest medical-nin. Trained Shizune and Sakura Haruno in the art of medical ninjutsu. Took on the title of Fifth Hokage. Currently in a comatose state after running extremely low on chakra when saving Konoha's citizens during the Invasion of Pain.

• Despite being three of the most powerful Shinobi Konoha has ever produced, each of them departed from Konoha for different reasons. Orochimaru left to join Akatsuki and further develop his forbidden techniques, Jiraiya went to gather information on Orochimaru and Akatsuki's movements, and Tsunade lost all confidence in her healing ability and went into self-imposed exile.
• The Sannin are named after the characters in the Japanese folktale Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari.
• Each member of the Sannin has trained a member of Team 7 (not including Kakashi), Orochimaru trained Sasuke, Tsunade trained Sakura, and Jiraiya trained Naruto. Though Minato, Jiraiya's pupil, did teach Kakashi.
• No Sannin has a surname stated in the series.
• The world wide game "scissors, paper, stone" originated from China during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), invented by the warlords of that period. Except instead of paper, they used the open palm symbol to represent cloth, so it's "Scissors, Stone, Cloth". The game reached Japan in the early 1640s and one variation of the game was the "Slug, Snake, Frog" variation. In this variation, the Frog is afraid of the Snake, the Snake is afraid of the Slug, and the Slug is afraid of the Frog. This is influenced by the Sansukumi way of thinking where it keeps the three objects in a deadlock. The fact that the Sannin use these three animals as summons may be the author hinting that there is no stronger one among them, and that their strength is more or less equal.
